Welcome to haydengiblin.com, I’m Hayden Giblin

I’ve been working as an IT professional for several years providing support for both SMBs & large enterprises - both remotely and on-site. I have experience working with the typical M365 / Office stack as well as more esoteric proprietary business applications. I also provide break-fix support for computers and computer-adjacent hardware.

I dabble in coding and have written several small applications in C - I also have experience scripting in Python and Bash as well (everything can be found in my GitHub linked above) I generally enjoy tinkering and trying out new technologies.

The website you’re viewing right now was created using the Arise static-site generator (written in Bash) and is being hosted on a VPS with a manually-configured Nginx server.

• gitcrypty - Similar to the crypty script above but different - encrypts a directory of files before automatically adding + pushing them to a git repo - written in POSIX-compliant shell
  
• usersys - WIP - Small application to manage the state of user-scoped systemd units on a Unix system, written in C
